MARK-CHRISTINA-ISABELLA-JAMIESON

As a family that not only believes in doing life together but also strongly believes in doing ministry together, each of us is unique, and the Lord is using us to speak to many generations. We are passionate about seeing full family salvations and being used as the Lord directs. A main passion in our household is the great outdoors; from fishing to hunting to watching whales, we take life as a great adventure.

After over 24 years of pastoral ministry, with the most recent 7 years serving as Lead Pastors in Millbrook, the Smallwoods have taken a step of faith as God has been leading them to full-time itinerant ministry. This new chapter in our ministry is a natural step as we have been guest ministers in camps, conventions, retreats, and churches over the last few years. Mark has preached, Christina has led worship, and the entire family has ministered at the altar.

The Smallwoods' ministry began in 1999 when Mark embarked on a transformative path, traveling across the United States and Canada with Evangelist Pat Schatzline. Mark’s ministry then transitioned into youth ministry, where he and his wife led hundreds of young individuals into powerful encounters with the presence of God.

During this time, Mark and Christina actively supported various non-profit organizations, such as Habitat for Humanity, by leading volunteer teams on missions and humanitarian trips. They also collaborated with Youth Unlimited, establishing youth afterschool programs that connected local youth with church mentors.

For the past decade, Mark has served as a lead pastor, continuing to guide people towards encountering the presence of God while addressing the physical needs of the community. Just prior to and during the COVID-19 pandemic, he and his team recognized the need for a community playground in Millbrook. Through dedicated fundraising efforts and successful grant applications, they were able to build a remarkable $200,000 playground entirely debt-free. This playground quickly became a beloved gathering spot for children, parents, and grandparents in the community. Its popularity is such that even the local school organizes walking field trips for students to enjoy the playground. Mark and his team would regularly take this opportunity to connect with, feed, and demonstrate the love of God in practical ways to those who visit the playground. It’s a wonderful example of their commitment to both spiritual and physical well-being within the community.

Recently, he has initiated archery programs for elementary and high school students, fostering their skills and providing a platform for healthy relationships. Through this program, they not only taught archery but also introduced young individuals to the Gospel. Additionally, Mark’s ministry launched a volleyball program, offering high school students a free night to enjoy sports and develop meaningful connections.

Mark Smallwood is an Ordained Licensed Ministry Credential Holder with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, which serves as oversight for his ministry, PASSION 4 PRESENCE.
